Denis DaSilva learned the hard way that real estate is chess, not checkers.

A broker, investor, and founding partner of revolv — an independent brokerage built on local expertise, agent development, and a single rule, “Always the client, never the commission” — Denis has built his career through every kind of market: explosive booms, the foreclosure and short-sale era, the housing crash, and the disruption of COVID. Before revolv, he owned and operated RE/MAX franchises and earned a reputation as both a high-performing agent and a sharp, business-minded broker-owner who builds offices, teams, and the agents inside them.

The lesson that shaped him came from the brutal markets, not the easy ones: the agents who survive don’t simply react to the board — they read it, and they move first. That conviction became Checkmate — his strategic playbook for agents who want to stop acting like salespeople and start thinking like strategists, three moves ahead of the competition.

Born in the United States and raised in the Azores, Portugal, Denis brings an operator’s mindset and a practical, no-nonsense approach to the business. His mission is simple: help agents stop chasing transactions and start building durable, profitable real estate businesses.
